ShiftPlanning Raises $3.2M

shiftplanningShiftPlanning, a San Francisco, CA-based employee scheduling application, raised $3.2m in funding.

Backers included Point Nine Capital, MHS Capital, CEO Ryan Fyfe; Ken Fyfe; David Charron, VP Business Development for the company and Steven Lurie, founder of Team Builder Ventures.

Launched in 2010 in San Francisco, ShiftPlanning provides employee scheduling software, which now has over 500,000 users in 87 countries spanning a diverse set of industries including restaurant, retail, medical and non-profit.

The company, which has now raised $4.3m, also launched Humanity, which provides a full suite of custom apps to cover all aspects of workforce management including scheduling, time and attendance and leave management controlled from a customizable dashboard, with data export to Payroll or custom reports.

Additional modules including an assortment of options to increase employee engagement, are expected to be realesed soon.
