Lookout, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a mobile security platform, completed a $150m round of financing.
The round was led by investment funds managed by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., with participation from new investors Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Wellington Management Company, LLP, Goldman Sachs and Bezos Expeditions and existing investors Mithril Capital Management, Khosla Ventures, Accel Partners, Index Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its reach to large enterprises through new product development and expanded go-to-market efforts.
Led by Jim Dolce, CEO, Lookout is a mobile security company that allows people and companies to safe from both broad-based and targeted mobile threats. It combines a real-time view of the world’s mobile data with machine intelligence to continuously identify, analyze, predict and eliminate every mobile threat.
