SiSense, a New York City-based provider of big data analytics for business users, raised $30m in financing.
The round was led by venture capital firm DFJ Growth, with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners and Opus Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Randy Glein, DFJ Growth Managing Director, is joining SiSense’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team and its global presence.
Led by Amit Bendov, CEO, SiSense enables business users to join, analyze and visualize data sets from a multitude of structured and unstructured data sources from any device, including mobile. The company has hundreds of customers in 49 countries, including global brands like Target, eBay, ESPN, Samsung and Wix.
