TOK.tv Raises $820K

tok.tvTOK.tv, a Palo Alto CA-based social tv startup, raised $820k in funding.

Backers included investors from Italian Angels for Growth (IAG), who committed $165k, as well as venture capitalists and other business angels (including Armando Biondi, XG Ventures, Klein Venture Partners, TEEC Angel Fund) from the USA.

Co-founded by Fabrizio Capobianco (Serial entrepreneur and Funambol President) and Emanuela Zaccone (Social Media Strategist), TOK.tv provides a platform that allows fans to watch sports events and create virtual living rooms of up to four people via mobile apps. It also features real time info and stats about events.
It is live with TOK Baseball, TOK Football and Juventus Live. With the beginning of the World Cup 2014, it has launched TOK for Brazil, with the following national team apps available for iOS e Android:
