Clari, a Mountain View, Calif.-based mobile-first sales productivity platform, closed a $20m Series B funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from Northgate Capital and existing investor Sequoia Capital. In conjunction with the financing, Bain Capital Ventures’ Ajay Agarwal will be joining Clari’s board.
The company, which has now raised $26m, plans to use the new funds for continued development of its knowledge graph and machine learning algorithms and scale out its API framework.
Led by Andy Byrne, CEO, Clari provides a mobile-first sales productivity platform, which combines mobile, design, and data science to help field sales teams reduce manual reporting, and offer visibility into deal progress. It is used by sales teams from Box, Cisco, Aruba Networks, Nimble Storage, and Nutanix use Clari to improve and accelerate the entire sales cycle – from meeting prep and follow-up to updating CRM and forecasting revenue.
The solution captures information from the reps in the field to allow managers and sales operations teams to access to a real-time view into deal progress to coach reps in time, assign sales support resources, and optimize sales best practices.
