Evident.io, a Dublin, CA-based cloud security company, closed $9.85m Series A funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from True Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to scale operations.
Led by Tim Prendergast, Founder and CEO, Evident.io provides continuous cloud security technology for Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Evident Security Platform (ESP) Unlike other solutions, it is not limited to the server operating system but secures all of the application and data-centric services provided by the cloud, as well as the host.
Customers include startups, enterprises and public sector entities that depend on cloud infrastructure.
