Clari, a Mountain View, CA-based mobile-first sales productivity platform, emerged from stealth with $6m in funding.
Sequoia made the investment and Aaref Hilaly, Sequoia partner, joined Clari’s board member.
The company is using the funds for expansion and product development.
Led by Andy Byrne, CEO, Clari released its cloud sales productivity platform that is designed to improve the effectiveness of sales teams and help them close deals, reduce manual reporting and gain insight into deal progress. It unifies and reorganizes all information from internal and external selling sources including CRM, Sharepoint, Exchange, Box, Dropbox, LinkedIn, Gmail, news, and Twitter
It has already been used by VMware, Juniper, Cisco, Box, and Nimble Storage.
