Bitcasa, a Mountain View, Calif.-based platform for consumers, developers and small businesses to take control of their digital belongings, raised $11m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Horizons Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and international expansion.
Led by Brian Taptich, CEO, Bitcasa provides a platform for users to control digital belongings with access across Android, iOS, Windows, Windows RT, Mac OSX, and the Web. The software ensures complete privacy with client-side encryption.
