Backdoor Raises $200K in Seed Funding

daniel singerBackdoor, a Los Angeles, CA-based messaging app, raised $200k in seed funding from ArpexCapital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the platform and add new innovations to the app.

Created and launched in July 2013 by 14 year old Daniel Singer, Backdoor allows users to anonymously message and communicate with their friends. The recipient of the message can redeem “clues” to find out more about who is messaging to them and as they try to figure out their identity.
