Bright.com, a San Francisco, CA-based employment website, closed its $14m Series B funding.
The round was led by Toba Capital, with participation from existing investors John Burbank of Passport Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to improve the data science behind the Bright Score, an algorithm that examines numerous features such as a company’s hiring trends and skills on a resume to connect candidates with the right jobs, as well as to hire new people.
Led by Steve Goodman, CEO, Bright.com leverages data science to connect job seekers with best-fit employment opportunities. To date, the site has listed over 30 million jobs and continues to add over 20,000 new job seekers every day.
The company currently employs 51 people.
