Objective Logistics Raises $5.3M in Series A Funding

Objective Logistics, a Boston, MA-based developer of Talent Optimization technology, raised $5.3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Atlas Venture with participation from Google Ventures and Next View Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to scale operations and to extend its platform beyond the restaurant industry into other verticals.

Founded in 2009 by Philip Beauregard, CEO, Objective Logistics provides MUSE, a software platform that uses game dynamics to create a competitive environment ranking salespeople (waitstaff and hourly workers) on a leader board and rewarding them with their choice of shifts, and other prizes, based on their performance.
On the back end, MUSE analyzes all the data produced in a given shift to provide managers with insight into individual performance and allows them to make changes that will enhance the customer’s experience and increase customer engagement.
Customers include nine brands, representing more than 70 restaurants.
