Sensible Organics, Inc., the Beaver Falls, PA-based company behind Nourish Organic, a USDA certified organic bath and body line, secured $3m in new funding.
Backers included Renewal Funds, and a strategic group of new investors including husband and wife actors Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor.
The company intends to use the funds to expand throughout North America and around the world by upgrading its production and warehouse facilities, product research and development, and continued advocacy and public education to raise awareness about the health benefits of its products.
Led by Rob Robillard, President and CEO, Sensible Organics launched Nourish Organic bath and body products in May 2012. They are carried in Whole Foods, Ulta, and online at www.NourishOrganic.com, and starting this fall, will be launched in new retailers throughout the United States.
