Idibon, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that develops a solution to help companies understand their language data, raised $1.4m from Khosla Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the technology.
Led by Robert Munro, CEO, Schuyler Erle, CTO, Christopher Walker, Chief Data Officer, and Tyler Schnoebelen, Senior Data Scientist, Idibon aims to help companies understand their language data. By using natural language processing, the company takes unstructured data like emails, instant messages and social media, and provides structured answers to key business intelligence questions.
In conjunction with the funding, Sven Strohband Partner and CTO at Khosla Ventures, will join Ibidon’s board of directors.
