MobileSpan, a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of a remote access platform for personal devices in the enterprise, raised $2.3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by True Ventures, with participation from Greylock Partners, K9 Ventures, Alchemist Accelerator, and other angels.
The company intends to use the funding to expand R&D and marketing efforts in 2013.
Founded in 2011 by Nils Bunger, CEO, MobileSpan has just launched MobileSpan for BYOD™, a remote access Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution that enables a company’s workforce to work from anywhere, on any device, while remaining integrated with existing management systems, and fully compliant with data governance standards.
