The Mad Video Closes $585K in Angel Funding

According to El Confidencial (read here), The Mad Video, a Madrid, Spain-based startup that provides an online tool for tagging and adding rich content to any object displayed in video, has closed a $585k in angel funding.

Backers include Antonio Fontanini, Bernardo Hernández, Iñaki Arrola and Rafa Garrido of Vitamina K.

The company intends to use the funding to finalize the version beta of its solution, and expand in the USA, where the company operates an office (San Francisco, CA).

Led by Koldo García (CEO), The Mad Video provides a platform to make videos clickable and monetize them, by tagging objects (products, places or people) appearing on them with a wide rage of different features (extra info, e-commerce, ads, etc.)
