Fever Raises $3m in Seed Funding

feverFever, a Madrid, Spain-based event discovery app, raised $3m in seed funding.

Backers included, among others:
Jeff Pulver (early investor in Twitter, Foursquare),
Bernardo Hernandez (CEO at Flickr, Zagat, advisor for Google Ventures),
Gary Shainberg (BT),
Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid soccer player), and
Alejandro Sanz (musician, Grammy Award winner).

Founded by Pep Gomez, Fever is an event discovery app for iPhone and Android to help users find the best events to attend. Launched in 2013 in Europe, the app offers a curated feed of options as well as a social component to allow users to follow friends and influencers and share their activity.
It has been used more than 500,000 times by nearly 45,000 active users with more than 6,000 events curated.

The app is now available today in New York City.
