Tello, Inc., a Palo Alto, California-based SaaS and mobile application company, has raised $2.7m in Series A funding.
The round was led by True Ventures and Bullpen Capital.
Founded in 2010 and led by CEO and Founder Joe Beninato, Tello has also launched Tello for Business, a service that helps businesses of any size monitor customer feedback resolve service issues that can have a direct effect on sales via mobile devices.
The solution allows people to use iPhone, iPad or Android phones, or text messaging, to provide feedback to businesses such as large retailers, airlines, hotel chains, independent shops and restaurants. Customers are notified of feedback and respond instantly to acknowledge praise or resolve issues in real time. They can specify employee names and provide specific feedback on an individual.
