Gilde Healthcare Partners, a Utrecht, the Netherlands-based venture capital and private equity firm, has raised more than €50m for its new fund.
Gilde Healthcare Services fund focuses on investing growth capital in specialist clinics, elderly care, primary care, disease prevention, mental health, service laboratories and other healthcare service sectors. It complements existing Gilde Healthcare funds, which invest in companies developing medicines, diagnostic products and medical devices.
The vehicle, which already invested in Stepping Stones Home & Care, a chain of small scale nursing homes for the elderly, expects to announce an additional new investment in the coming weeks.
It is led by Managing Partner Pieter van der Meer.
