Fondo Italiano di Investimento Invests in Vertis Capital Parallel

Fondo Italiano di Investimento (Italian Investment Fund – FII) has made an indirect investment in Vertis Capital Parallel, a new private equity fund managed by Vertis Sgr.

The amount of the commitment was not officially disclosed but local reports said Fondo Italiano invested €15m. The final target of the fund is €29m.

Founded in 2001 by CEO Amedeo Giurazza and based in in Naples, Vertis Sgr is a venture capital/private equity firm that focuses on investing in SMEs based in the Center and South of Italy.

It already manages Vertis Capital, which focuses on providing expansion capital, and Vertis Ventures, which invests in startups and spin off companies.
