Oxford Photovoltaics Completes £650K Funding

Oxford Photovoltaics Limited, an Oxford, UK cleantech company, has completed a £650k funding.

The round was led by MTI Partners through the UMIP Premier Fund, with participation from Parkwalk EIS Technology Fund 1, the World Gold Council and a number of angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to build on its commercial team and scale up its “demonstrator” product manufacturing.

Led by CEO Kevin Arthur, OPV is an Oxford University spin out that develops solid-state dye sensitized solar cells for the Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) sector.
