Independent IP (IIP), an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based developer and provider of a platform that is designed to enable music companies to manage their digital business, closed a new funding round of undisclosed amount with informal investors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to add advanced features to the FUGA platform, which currently offers Asset & Product Management, Release Scheduling Management, Encoding & Delivery Management and Basic Reporting Functionalities.
Led by CEO Martijn Tjho, IIP intends to provide music companies of all size an advanced tool to manage their catalogs, digital distribution to DSPs and other business partners, and promote their music.
In the next two months , FUGA will add new featurs including:
– Territory Based Release Dates, which will assist clients to configure a release schedule and set different pricings for their product territory by territory;
– a Tagging Framework, which gives larger catalog clients the ability to tag Assets and Products for fast delivery to business partners;
– a Cross Licensing Network, which will enable clients to license each other’s assets & products.
