Best Doctors Receives Minority Investment from Nippon Life Insurance Company of Japan

Best Doctors, a global clinical advocacy benefits company, received a minority investment of undisclosed amount from Nippon Life Insurance Company of Japan.
The investment will supports the company in continuing to expand around the world.
Nippon Life joins reinsurer Munich Re as a minority owner of Best Doctors, which supports, designs, and underwrites benefits and insurance programs that help customers get diagnosis and treatment. According to a written statement, it covers nearly 25 million people.
Founded in 1989 by Harvard Medical School professors, the company is led by CEO David Seligman.
Harris Williams & Co. acted as the exclusive advisor to Best Doctors for this investment.
