Samplify Systems, Inc., a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of technology, semiconductors and sub-systems for medical, industrial, wireless, and scientific markets, has completed a $11.2m Series B round of funding.
Investors include Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDTI), Charles River Ventures, Formative Ventures and Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB).
In conjunction with the funding, Ginger Hildebrand, Software Governance Manager for Schlumberger, will join Samplify’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow in existing markets, and expand into new ones.
Led by CEO Tom Sparkman, Samplify provides technology, semiconductors, and substystem products, (including the AutoFocus™ beamformer and the SAM1600 family of compressing ADCs), which are designed to increase the performance, lower the power, and accelerate time to market of ultrasound machines used in the medical imaging, wireless infrastructure, and industrial markets.
