FriendFinder Networks, Inc., an Internet-based social networking company, has formed FriendFinder Ventures, Inc., a new subsidiary that will focus on strategic relationships and investment opportunities in online, gaming, mobile and software based companies.
In addition, FriendFinder Ventures will focus on entering into strategic relationships and offering its expertise to companies in the areas of revenue enhancement, technology and infrastructure, user experience, recruiting and exploring financial opportunities.
In making the announcement, Marc Bell, FriendFinder Networks CEO, sayd “The consumer internet marketplace is a significant part of our business and FriendFinder Ventures will continue to allow us to increase our sizable presence and development in that area while maintaining FriendFinder Networks’ position as an industry leader in the social networking arena”.
FriendFinder Networks currently operates over 30,000 websites including social networking websites in the world. In addition, companies of its networks produce and distribute original pictorial and video content, license its globally recognized Penthouse brand to a variety of consumer companies and entertainment venues, and publish branded men’s lifestyle magazines.
