WHEB Ventures, a European clean technology private equity firm, has announced it has changed its name to WHEB Partners.
The change is designed the firm’s expansion over the last two years with the growth of the private equity team from six to ten investment professionals, the opening of an office in Munich and raising of £105m for the second cleantech fund.
WHEB Partners is part of the WHEB Group, a London-based specialist investment management firm focused on environmental markets with total assets under management of over £150m.
It comprises:
– WHEB Asset Management (www.whebam.com), which invests globally in listed sustainable equities,
– WHEB Infrastructure (www.whebinfrastructure.com), which focuses on renewable energy generation infrastructure,
– WHEB Partners.
