HanseVentures, a Hamburg, Germany-based venture capital firm, has launched.
The company, whose focus is on investing in between six and eight internet start ups a year for the next three years, will support entrepreneurs in every aspect of their work, through its network, expert knowledge in on-line marketing, and financial resources.
Hanse Ventures’ portfolio already includes Carmio.de, which provides on-line price comparisons for auto parts, and HochzeitsPlaza, an on-line wedding platform.
Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, is one of the founders of the firm. The management team includes Dr. Bernd Kundrun, Jochen Maaß, Sarik Weber, and Rolf Schmidt-Holtz (see photo).
