AllGoob SA, a Pessac, France-based intelligent search engine publisher, has raised €1m in its first round of funding.
The investment was led by Paris-based Newfund, a €72m growth equity fund.
The company, founded in 2007 by Thomas Allaire and François Goube, develops vertical search engines for classifieds.
AllGoob’s first application, Jobijoba, is a search engine for jobs is currently active in France, Belgium, UK, United States, Australia and Spain.
The funds will enable be used to continue the operational, commercial and technological development of the company.
AllGoob intends to accelerate the international deployment of its business model and launch of wiPikit, the search engine dedicated to the real estate and car sectors.
