TelaDoc Raises $9M

TelaDoc, Inc., a Dallas, Texas-based network of primary care physicians, received a $9m investment in a round led by HLM Venture Partners, with participation from healthcare specialist Cardinal Partners and Trident Capital.
The proceeds will be used to fund the company’s next phase of growth.
Commenting on the investment, Jason Gorevic, CEO of TelaDoc, was reported as saying: “This funding will help us to build on our ongoing initiatives to enhance the primary care physician-patient relationship and create meaningful and measurable change in the quality and cost of health care for millions of Americans”.
Founded in 2002, TelaDoc is a national network of board-certified physicians providing telehealth telehealth consultations on demand 24 hours-a-day, 365 days a year.
