Nasdaq-quoted Morningstar, Inc., a provider of independent investment research, has acquired a minority equity stake in PitchBook Data, Inc.
Founded in March 2007, Seattle-based PitchBook offers detailed data and information about private equity transactions, investors, companies, limited partners, and service providers.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
