EasyStack Closes Series C++ Financing Round

easystackEasyStack, a Beijing, China-based open source cloud computing market leader, completed its Series C++ round financing.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The round was led by JD.com. As part of it, EasyStack and JD Cloud will form a strategic partnership in enterprise cloud services to provide enterprise users a comprehensive cloud services experience, covering areas such as private cloud, public cloud and multi-cloud.
In addition, EasyStack intends to collaborate closely with JD.com, and in particular, JD Cloud, to jointly build cloud platforms providing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.

Founded in February 2014 by Xilun Chen, CEO, EasyStack is committed to providing enterprise users with products and services based on a wide range of open source technologies, such as Linux, OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes and Docker. The company has built cloud platforms for more than 300 large and medium-sized enterprise customers and has also won over a number of overseas customers through its internationalization strategy.
Its product portfolio for enterprise users is comprised of ECS enterprise cloud, ECS Stack HCI, EKS container cloud and EMS hybrid cloud.

EasyStack will also use the funds for corporate development as an independent entity focused on making R&D investments in core technologies, developing cloud computing products and building an ecosystem for enterprise solutions, so as to create comprehensive cloud computing platforms that integrate with multiple clouds from infrastructure architecture to applications.
