Blockdaemon, a NYC-based provider of a blockchain powered node deployment, connection, and management platform, raised $3.3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Comcast Ventures, the VC affiliate of Comcast Corporation, with participation from Boldstart Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, MState, and Plug and Play and several angel investors. As part of the investment, Comcast Venture’s Managing Director, Gil Beyda, will sit on the Blockdaemon board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to advance product development and expand the team.
Led by Konstantin Richter, CEO, and Arun Kalaiselvan, CTO, Blockdaemon is a blockchain deployment facilitator focused on one-click deployment, management and supervision of nodes, no matter in what configuration. The solution allows users to switch networks and chains without worrying about picking the best network configuration from day one.
