Automile, a Palo Alto, CA-based Internet of Things (IoT) company focused on field-service businesses, raised a $34m Series B funding round.
The round, which brings total funding to $47m, was led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors SaaStr Fund, Point Nine Capital, Dawn Capital and Salesforce Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in sales, marketing, and product development, and open multiple new sales offices, both in the US and Europe.
Led by Jens Nylander, CEO and founder, Automile provides mobile-first, design-first fleet and field service management solutions to thousands of businesses of all sizes across the United States and Europe to optimize fleet performance, gain visibility into their drivers and vehicles and ultimately improve the bottom line.
Customers range from small and mid-sized businesses to global leaders including Ricoh and Nestle.
The company also has offices in Sweden and Norway.
