Landbay, a London, UK-based buy-to-let mortgage lender, has closed a £2.4m crowdfunding round.
The funds were raised via Seedrs.
The company, which has raised approx. £7m to date via the crowdfunding platform, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and launch new products.
Led by John Goodall and Gray Stern, Landbay is a peer-to-peer lending platform, which enables retail investors, institutions and local governments to invest in the UK’s private rented sector through the funding of residential buy-to-let mortgages. All loans are secured by first‐ranking mortgages over tenanted residential properties across England and Wales.
The company, authorized and regulated by the FCA, currently has a team of 30.
