TeamSnap, a Boulder, Colo.-based integrated sports management company, acquired FanAppEvents, a Jefferson City, Mo.-based tournament and league management company, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition aims to enhance TeamSnap’s ability to simplify the organization of youth, recreational and competitive sports. Effective immediately, the tournament management platform will be known as TeamSnap Tournaments.
Led by Dave DuPont, CEO, TeamSnap provides team, club and league management web and smartphone apps used by fifteen million coaches, administrators, players and parents to sign up, schedule, communicate and coordinate everything for the team, the club and the season.
Led by Jill Antweiler, co-founder and CEO, FanAppEvents provides a user-friendly tournament and league management platform, which includes automated scheduling, in-app real-time game updates, event communication platform and more.
