CornerJob Raises $19m in Series C Funding

CornerJob, a Barcelona, Spain-based mobile recruitment app, raised $19m in Series C funding.

Backers included Northzone, Randstad Innovation Fund, e.ventures, Samaipata Ventures, Caixa Capital Risc, Sabadell Venture Capital, Mediaset Italia, Mediaset España, Groupe TF1, 5M Ventures, Media Digital Ventures, Augesco Ventures and TV Azteca.

The company, which has raised $54m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to develop app funcionalities, consolidate in existing markets and grow in new markets.

Co-founded in 2015 by David Rodriguez, Miguel Vicente, Gerard Olivé and Mauro Maltagliati, CornerJob is an app that allows people to find job offers around themeselves and get in touch with companies and recruiters who are looking for candidates. The platform now has 150k signed up companies operating in such sectors as sales, catering, administration, construction, industry, tourism, etc.

CornerJob has offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Milan and Mexico City.
