Brand Capital, the strategic investment arm of Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd, commonly known as The Times Group, made the strategic investment.
The company intends to use the funds to bring its online tools in the Indian market.
Led by Alex Fedosseev, CEO, 1World Online has developed and maintains a Consumer Intelligence Platform providing engagement applications, content, ongoing market research, and end- user analytics for customers.
The company’s polls, quizzes, and other monetizable Interactive Media Units (IMU) are currently deployed on The Economic Times and Huffington Post in India.
1World Online also has offices in Boston, MA, India, Mexico, Europe, Japan, Ukraine, Singapore, and soon China.
To support its activities in India, the company has set up a team in the country and launched a Knowledge Hub, at 1worldonline.in.
