Fluidic Energy, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based provider of intelligent energy storage solutions, raised $20m in funding.
Asia Climate Partners (ACP) made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its intelligent and low cost energy storage technology.
Led by Steve Scharnhorst, CEO, Fluidic Energy provides an energy storage solutions enabled by battery technology and smart-grid intelligence. The company, which has been manufacturing its energy storage systems in Indonesia since 2011, supplies its systems to both telecom and rural electrification applications. To date, Fluidic Energy has shipped more than 100,000 batteries worldwide.
