H4D, a Paris and Aix en Provence, France-based developer of telemedicine solutions, completed its €6.7M second round of financing.
The round was led by a syndicate consisting of existing investor Atoga and Innovation Capital, Bpifrance and CNP Assurances.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the commercial roll out its telemedicine services centered on the Consult Station and expand to several attractive markets in France and internationally.
Created in 2008 by Dr Franck Baudino, H4D develops innovative telemedicine solutions. The Consult Station, a connected doctor’s office, enables users to consult a physician for a medical procedure via teleconference, and to do a physiological check-up. Equipped with a very complete set of medical instruments and examination tools (blood pressure monitor, thermometer, oximeter, stethoscope, EKG, glucometer…), the system allows the physician to perform remotely, via secure videoconference, the majority of medical procedures carried out at the physician’s office for acute or chronic illnesses: early detection and prevention, diagnosis and prescription, as well as follow-up.
The company’s solutions are used by corporate clients, local authorities, health insurance companies, hospitals and retirement homes in France, Europe, Africa and North America.
