Customer Contact Center Tech Specialist Sabio Raises £50M

sabioSabio, a London, UK-based customer contact center technology specialist, raised £50m in equity funding.

Lyceum Capital made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds for organic growth plans with a number of targeted acquisitions.

Founded in 1998 by Seb Henkes, Sabio is a service provider of contact center telecommunication solutions serving large call centers in the UK, including the AA, together with major organizations across the world, including DHL.
The company, which has operations in Glasgow and Singapore, has revenues in excess of £40 million.

Following the completion of the deal, Lee Shorten has remained Chairman and Andy Roberts has become CEO, having served on the board since 2003, most recently as COO.
