One Medical Passport, Inc., a Willington, CT-based provider of cloud-based peri-operative medical software, closed a $4m Series A funding.
FCA Venture Partners, a Nashville-based venture capital firm focused on healthcare IT, made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the company’s growth plans as it continues to build out its software suite and finishes development of its patient engagement solution.
Led by Stephen Punzak, M.D. – Founder and Chief Executive Officer, One Medical Passport provides an online software which enhances the involvement of patients in their own care before, during and after surgery and medical procedures and aims to improve the communication and collaboration between patients, doctors, and medical facilities. It is currently used by over two million patients and 700 medical facilities annually throughout the U.S. with customers including many of the top healthcare management companies.
