TVision Insights, a Boston, MA-based provider of a platform that allows TV researchers to measure attention, raised $2.5m in venture capital funding.
Backers included Project 11 Ventures, Golden Venture Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, Joshua Summers, and other angel investors via the BOSS Syndicate on AngelList.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Yan Liu, CEO, TVision Insights uses proprietary computer vision software to offer a solution for second-by-second data insight into viewer behavior and attentiveness to traditional linear and connected television programming and advertisements.
It is used by advertisers, agencies and network clients.
The company, a 2015 MassChallenge winner, also has offices in New York, Dallas and Tokyo.
