PresenceLearning Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based provider of live online speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior and mental health services for K-12 students, raised $25m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Catalyst Investors with participation from existing investors Birchmere Ventures, Blue Heron Capital, Catamount Ventures and New Markets Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Catalyst Partner & Co-Founder Ryan McNally, joined PresenceLearning’s board of directors.
Founded in 2009 by co-CEOs Clay Whitehead and Jack Lynch, PresenceLearning addresses the growing shortage of speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavioral and mental health service providers by connecting clinicians and students via its platform and marketplace.
Treatment sessions are delivered via live interactive video using evidence-based practices combined with progress reporting.
The company will use the funds to continue its growth within the above mentioned areas while also expanding into additional allied health fields and new user populations.
