FoodLogiQ Expands Growth Financing

FoodLogiQFoodLogiQ, a Durham, NC-based food safety, traceability and sustainability Software as a Service company, has expanded its most recent round of growth financing.

These additional funds will be used to accelerate the development and introduction of its product suite and to further build out its leadership team.

In addition to the round, FoodLogiQ appointed Dean Wiltse as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who succeeds founding CEO Tom Finegan who will continue to serve as the Chairman of the board of directors and a special advisor. Katy Jones joined as the new Vice President of Marketing. Reporting to Wiltse, Jones will grow the marketing arm of the business, launch a lead generation program and expand product marketing via web, digital and social channels.
Co-founder Andy Kennedy will continue to focus on the food chain product strategy for the company and industry standards development including GS1’s traceability initiatives.

FoodLogiQ also announces the addition of two seasoned executives, Jay Corscadden and Jamie Duke, to its board of directors. Corscadden is the Managing General Partner of Clarkston Merchant Partners while Duke is an independent management consultant.

FoodLogiQ is a software as a service (SaaS) provider of traceability, food safety and sustainability solutions enabling restaurant chains, food retailers, growers, packers, processors, shippers, and consumer product companies to ensure they are providing safe food products to consumers.
It has a growing user base with over 1900 registered businesses in over 35 countries with 18,000 locations on our cloud platform.
