Enevo, an Espoo, Finland-based provider of waste logistics solutions for Smart Cities, raised $ 15.8m in funding round.
The round was led by Foxconn, Ginko Ventures and Mistletoe, with participation from existing investors Earlybird, Lifeline Ventures, Finnish Industry Investment and private individuals.
Led by Fredrik Kekäläinen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Enevo provides ONe, an automated waste logistics operations management solution that creates and forecasts optimal waste collection schedules and routes to save up costs and increase service quality by avoiding waste bin overflows and excess fleet utilization.
The solution is being deployed in 35 countries by 145 customers.
The company had previously secured $ 10.3m.
