Music Messenger Raises $30M in Funding

Music-MessengerMusic Messenger, an Israeli music sharing startup, raised $30m in funding.

The round, which reportedly valued the company at $100m, was led by Roman Abramovich with participation from Tiesto, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, will.i.am, and Gee Roberson.

The company will use the funds to expand operations.

Led by CEO Oded Kobo, Shai Azran, David Strauss, and Uzi Refaeli, Music Messenger provides an app that allows users to create playlists from over a hundred million songs, artists and albums. People can also send and receive full music tracks from their smartphones to anyone on their contact list.
