Beckon, a San Mateo, CA-based marketing intelligence software provider, raised $13m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Venrock with participation from August Capital, Canaan Partners and El Dorado Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds for continued development of its platform as well as increase global customer adoption.
Founded in 2011 by Jennifer Zeszut (CEO) and Jochen Frey (CTO), Beckon provides a software-as-a-service omnichannel (management, planning, analytics and reporting) analytics software that integrates messy marketing data to deliver dashboards and scorecards for cross-channel marketing intelligence.
Customers include Coca-Cola, Gap, Microsoft, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Converse, BSkyB, Union Bank, Reebok, Jive, Dolby and other global brands.
