TripleLift, a NYC-based native advertising technology platform for the visual web, closed a $4m Series A round of funding.
The round was led by True Ventures with participation from existing investors iNovia Capital, NextView Ventures, MESA+, Liberty City Ventures, Social Starts, Laconia Ventures, the Social Internet Fund, and unnamed ad tech angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the adoption of its platform among premium publishers and brands.
Formed in 2012 by CEO Eric Berry, TripleLift helps brands leverage their images to tell engaging stories though the use of visual content that matches the look and feel of the site it is on.
The company has worked with Fortune 1000 brands like Gap, General Mills, Kohler, and Nissan.
