Sightly, a San Diego, California-based video advertising technology company focused on localized solutions, raised $1.7m in seed funding.
The round was led by New York-based Mack Capital, with participation from Tomorrow Ventures and 500 Startups.
The company intends to use the funds to expand product reach.
Co-founded by John McIntyre, CEO, and John Zdanowski, Sightly provides brands, agencies, and value added resellers (VARs) serving local businesses with tools to target video ads across all devices and reach prospective customers with locally relevant messages through YouTube and other online and mobile video networks.
Prior to expanding its focus on delivering solutions for brands, agencies and channel partners, they founded a previous iteration of Sightly which was focused on selling video solutions directly to small businesses.
