Wedgies, a Las Vegas, NV-based digital survey platform that integrates survey capabilities into users’ existing social media networks, raised $700k in seed funding.
The round was led by Greycroft Partners, with participation from Tony Hsieh’s Vegas Tech Fund, KBS+ Ventures, Battle Born Ventures, Twilio, 500 Startups and SV Angel.
The company intends to use the funds to scale the platform and expand into new markets.
Led by CEO Porter Haney and CTO Jimmy Jacobson, Wedgies.com provides a SaaS-based digital survey platform that gives media, journalists, and brands in-line survey capabilities inside social media, websites, and apps. In the past 12 months, Wedgies has powered polling across 10 million pages and 2 million voters a month for national publications like USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Engadget and The Weather Channel.
