Electric Cloud, a Sunnyvale, CA-based provider of Software Delivery Acceleration solutions, raised $8m in funding.
The round was led by Siemens Venture Capital with participation from existing investors US Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, RRE Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand engineering, sales, and marketing efforts.
Led by Steve Brodie, Chief Executive Officer, Electric Cloud provides solutions that enable organizations to optimize their software delivery process, including IT, ISV and embedded-software sectors.
Customers include companies across a variety of industries, including financial services, ISVs, mobile devices, semiconductors, and transactional websites.
